Our Foundation4Love Board
President, F4L - Leah Robert
Leah, Co Owner of SaltyGirl Boutique and also an Oncology Nurse at New England Cancer Specialists started Foundation4Love with her sister, Sarah. As an infusion nurse, Leah enjoys helping treat her patients, however also giving back to adults on a more personal level has been truly special for her. Becoming a business owner and creating a 501 C 3 was something Leah never thought would happen until 2015, when cancer hit close to home. Since then, she was able to turn lemons into lemonade and give back to families who need it most. Leah currently lives in Old Orchard Beach, Maine with her husband, Greg and two dogs Zoey and Kayla.
Vice President, F4L - Rob Robinson
Rob has lived in New England his entire life, as the summers on the coast and colors of autumn always lead him to forget how much he dislikes winter. He has spent his entire career marketing for values-driven organizations in the nonprofit and for profit sector and currently works as a brand manager for Tom's of Maine, where his primary focus is on brand equity and social responsibility. As a parent with two children, Rob has no free time. But he imagines that if he did it would be spent kayaking, hiking, reading, and finally learning how to play a musical instrument. He has a Bachelor's degree from Bates College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. He currently lives in Kittery, Maine with his wife, two kids, and too many pets.
Secretary, F4L - Mary Nylen
Mary is an SAP SuccessFactors consultant who has always had a love of helping others. This led her to a background in teaching and consulting. She believes that being a strong, independently minded woman is one of the greatest qualities one can obtain, and nothing beats being surrounded by other woman with the same fierce nature. This is what drew her to Leah and Sarah and their gracefulness and strength they put into the Foundation4Love. When Mary was a child, she lost her grandmother, the rock that held the family together, to cancer. Before her passing she asked Mary's grandfather to look out for the children she had met during her time at the hospital. Her grandfather began to devout his life to honoring his wife's request by raising money for the Maine Children's Cancer Program. What became a tradition that Mary, and the rest of her family partakes in, has turned into over $500,000 raised over the years. This has led Mary to be someone who is very goal oriented, and is always looking for new challenges to work towards that have a positive impact in others lives, and she could not be happier to help make Foundation4Love's success continue to grow for years to come.
